Cloud Computing Value Survey
According to a Booz Allen Hamilton economic analysis of cloud computing,
"The business case for cloud computing is clear and compelling".
"Agencies which migrate to the cloud will realize significantly lower operating
costs, and greater resilience, than can be achieved with distributed computing
environments. And in the case of an agency that decides to create their own

lower annual operating costs. The cost recovery period varies with the size of
the data center, the amount of virtualization, and the number of users over
which the per-capita costs are spread. When agencies pool their non-mission
specific computing needs which results in very low IT costs on a per capita
basis."
