Government Cloud Computing Value Survey
According to President Obama's 2010 budget, the Federal technology
environment requires a fundamental reexamination of investments in
technology infrastructure. To accomplish that reexamination, the
Infrastructure Modernization Program will implement pilot projects in order to
offer an opportunity to utilize more fully and broadly departmental and
agency architectures to identify enterprise-wide common services and
solutions with a new emphasis on cloud computing.  “The Federal
Government will transform its Information Technology Infrastructure by
virtualizing data centers, consolidating data centers and operations, and
ultimately adopting a cloud-computing business model.”

The Government Cloud Computing Value Survey has been designed as an
aid to help you explore the value of cloud computing to your Federal agency.
Through a 15 minute interactive session, this survey will:

  • Provide a high level cloud computing tutorial;
  • Explain the Federal Cloud Computing Initiative;
  • Give an overview of Apps.gov cloud computing solutions; and
  • Present possible cloud computing business value statements.
